Due to continued growth, we are looking for someone to join the Davey team as a Billing Clerk. As a member of a fast-paced team working with both operations and finance, the Billing Clerk will be responsible for entering employee timesheets and invoicing for either our Utility or Residential contracts. A successful candidate will be someone that has a high attention to detail, self-starter that can handle multiple tasks at once and enjoys research and resolution of accounts receivable issues.

This position is based at corporate office in Ancaster, Ontario. Office hours are 8:30AM to 4:30PM.

• Preparation of customer invoices on a weekly basis based on field execution.
• Ability to meet the high paced volume of data entry while maintaining accuracy.
• Working with both operations and finance teams for accurate reporting.
• Reviewing accuracy of the work performed by operations to ensure accurate billing to the client with supporting documentation.
• Ensuring records and files are accurate.
• Conduct Research and Resolution of Accounts Receivable issues.
• Reconciliation work as required.
• Cross training with another team member to provide back up support for different contracts.
• Performing data searches; recording and analyzing results.

• Diploma in Accounting, Business or a related discipline is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Able to prioritize multiple demands.
• Able to work independently and with little direction, following instructions accurately and completely.
