Job DescriptionOur client is a leading company in the food and beverage industry. They are currently seeking a licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their dynamic team and contribute to the high standards of operation essential for maintaining their position at the forefront of the industry.Seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) who will be essential in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our production and warehouse equipment. The successful candidate will:Surrey, BC
$41.09/hr Base Salary

Paid Uniforms• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs, and wear PPE in designated areas.
• Adhere to food quality and safety standards as per quality systems and SQF requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Execute complex corrective and preventative maintenance based on a strong understanding of mechanical theories and principles.
• Analyze current maintenance processes, establish baselines, and develop improvement plans for work order planning, scheduling, and cost management.
• Master the plant's CMMS system (e.g., SAP-PM), identifying gaps, and implementing formal improvement plans.
• Drive improvements in work order effectiveness, completion rates, backlog reduction, and establish prioritized work orders with enhanced methods and procedures.
• Lead optimization efforts for work order accomplishment, from breakdown to condition-based maintenance.
• Contribute to measurable improvements in maintenance-related downtime and associated costs, supporting CPC goals and sharing best practices across the enterprise.
• Ensure all documentation is completed daily, including logs, reports, work orders, PMs, inventory issues, material requisitions, and MWRs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Extensive technical knowledge in industrial maintenance, with familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
• Ability to interpret complex diagrams, piping diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Demonstrated MOS leadership skills and a strong team player mindset.
• Understanding of engineering principles and maintenance practices with objective judgment and decision-making skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule.
• Self-motivated, capable of working both in a team setting and independently.QualificationsRequirements / Preferred Qualifications
The Maintenance Mechanic Millwright is required to have:
• Interprovincial Journeyman License required.
• Millwright certification, dual-ticket Electrician/Millwright a strong asset.
• Must possess a 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production/line machine maintenance.
