Position Overview:

We are currently seeking full-time, temporary Light Duty Cleaners to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various rental properties in the Blue Mountains. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets
Distribute clean towels and toiletries
Stock linen closet
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
Handle and report lost and found items
Provide basic information on facilities
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Qualifications:

Previous 3-5 years experience in a cleaning or janitorial role

Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required

Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Must have clean criminal background
