This is a remote position.
- Consult with clients to understand event goals, target audience, and budget.
- Develop creative concepts and themes for conferences and events.
- Research and secure venues that meet client needs and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as catering, audio/visual equipment, décor, and entertainment.
- Manage event logistics, including registration, speaker coordination, travel arrangements, and on-site operations.
- Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown.
- Develop and manage event budgets and track all expenses.
- Create marketing materials and manage event promotion.
- Conduct post-event surveys and generate reports to measure event success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in conference and event planning.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing conferences and events.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Budget management experience.
- Creativity and a flair for design is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software
