Job Title: Project/Product ManagerJob ID: JM902343616Location: Toronto, ON Overview:Our client is on a mission to build the relationship-focused bank of the future and they're looking for passionate collaborators, innovators, advisors, and leaders who can get them there. As a product manager, you are accountable for elaborating payment system based on MEAN Stack of technologies (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js), establishing a vision for the product iterations, being a voice of the client when establishing priorities, understanding needs of various stakeholders (line of business, legal, risk, security, finance) and ensuring alignment across the product team for each iteration. You strive in collaborative environments and are able to balance assertion and patience along with perseverance. What you will be doing:
  • Stakeholder management and working with competing priorities
  • Financial management - track project finances. Reconcile actuals each month and re-baseline forecasts after actuals come in.
  • Project planning and Tracking progress adhering to scope, quality, and timelines
  • Creating roadmaps and monitoring product milestone deliverables, completion, and removing impediments and roadblocks
  • Moderating technical discussion in close cooperation with product team
  • Managing delivery team up to 15 members
  • Continuous improvement to achieve greater team efficiency and agile culture
  • Ability to come to office few days a week
What you must have:
  • Bank Product Management, Project Management, Financial Planning
  • Ability to understand product and business priorities and translate them to the technology delivery team. Represent business in technology discussions and represent technology in discussions with business.
  • Be the business partner in delivering digital products.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery.
  • Strong delivery expertise - understands SDLC and ability to build a realistic project timelines and deliver accurately against it. This requires close tracking by the team.
  • Financial project budget forecasting using excel
  • Project/Product management experience: 6+ years
Nice to have:
  • Technical background
  • Experience of elaborating payments system
  • PMI or Agile certifications
