Job Description

Provide professional, engaging, and friendly service while delivering food and beverage orders and/or amenities to guest rooms.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Have complete knowledge of In-Room Dining menu and ensure awareness of all menu specials, shortages, or item specifics on a per shift basis
  • Have basic knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Receive orders via telephone, correctly enter items into POS system, set food service cart appropriately, and deliver food and beverages directly to guest rooms
  • Communicate with guests the applicable service charges and acceptable payment methods
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Kitchen team and other In-Room Dining staff on a regular basis
  • Polish silverware and glassware
  • Accurately check, restock, and charge Mini Bar baskets in guest rooms
Qualifications
  • Alberta ProServe Certification
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized with solid time-management skills
  • Competent in POS and comfortable handling cash
