Designer, Production
The Designer, Production is responsible for the development of detailed drawings as well as the coordination of project files and permits. You will support the department in developing creative solutions, working with a variety of departments.

Designer, Production
The Designer, Production is responsible for the development of detailed drawings as well as the coordination of project files and permits. You will support the department in developing creative solutions, working with a variety of departments.
What we look for?
- Diploma in drafting/design, architecture or equivalent from an accredited post secondary institution.
- Experience drafting/design in the residential construction industry.
- Ability to work well in a design team and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with ArchiCAD, Revit or related software. Microsoft Office Suite, or Sketchup knowledge an asset.
- Desire for continuing education and personal development.
Complete documentation packages.
- Preparation CAD for projects and maintenance of drawing sets.
- Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications, guidelines, design data, municipalities requirements, etc.
- Drafting and designing all homes and site plans.
- Produce drawing sets based on current project and team needs.
- Maintain projects drawings through the use of ArchiCAD or Revit systems.
- Quantity take offs and estimating as required.
- Preparation and requesting all required engineering data for projects.
- Preparation and submitting for architectural approval.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of National and Provincial Building Code.
- Produce, organize and distribute all detailed technical drawings including development permits, building permits issued for construction and site instructions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
