The Role

We are looking for a 4th Class Power Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment within our facility. A Power Engineer's role encompasses overseeing the operation and maintenance of power generation equipment, including boilers, turbines, and generators, to ensure efficient and safe power production. This involves monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and analyzing data to optimize performance and address any issues.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate for the Power Engineer should possess a strong foundation in engineering principles, particularly in the areas of electrical and mechanical systems. They should have a thorough understanding of power generation equipment. Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Additionally, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for optimizing power generation efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety.

Qualifications

• Accredited license as a 4th Class Power Engineer.

• 3+ years' experience, food manufacturing or similar industry preferred.

• Ability to work shift work.

• Understanding of isolations and lock out tag out procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Strong critical thinking ability; good problem identification and problem resolution skills.

• Considerable knowledge of laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to pressure vessels and/or boiler operations.
