TRG is seeking for a Maintenance Technician for our client based in Brampton!
This position will troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in the production area and maintain a productive, safe and clean work environment.
Shift: Afternoon (3:00-11:30PM) Mon-FriPayrate: $24.00-$24.50/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Required Functions:

• Ability to disassemble, repair, and troubleshoot plant machines
• Ability to overhaul, rebuild, and troubleshoot plant machines
• Ability to make simple parts or equipment and tools
• Must have proper tools to perform assigned work duties
• Ability to read and comprehend items including a blue print, operating and maintenance manuals, work order, or repair parts request Required Skills and Abilities
• Perform maintenance functions related to production equipment
• MSDS forms Vacuum, Air, Hydraulic gages
• Instruct helpers and less qualified personnel
• Identify proper P/M schedules
• Identify proper parts, materials and tools needed for specific jobs
• Ability to set up and operate all shop equipment
• Demonstrates commitment to Safety and performs job duties in accordance to company safety policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand 6-8 hours
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. maximum
• Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent bending and lifting

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year combination of training, education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the duties listed above
• Must have technical knowledge or maintenance tools and equipment

Special Requirements:

• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested
• Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality and GMP is followed at all times.
