In this role, you'll be responsible for developing new business leads and building a strong portfolio of customers. You'll have excellent communication skills, able to quickly build rapport with potential customers and turn those leads into orders.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Build potential customer lists, using a variety of search methods including cold calling to constantly grow your prospects and develop new business.
- Develop lasting relationships and build potential customer lists, using a variety of search methods including cold calling to constantly grow your prospects and develop new business.
- Develop your account base through consistent and effective communication, and customer visits.
- Provide outstanding support to sales management team and customers by answering incoming customer calls, providing information on the status of orders or stock supply, writing/verifying/tracking orders.
- Work closely with lumber buyers and managers to ensure product supply and market awareness.
- Travel to visit customers and potentials.
- Participate in training and development courses, continuously improving your skill set.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies with orders in a prompt manner.
- Assist in keeping abreast of all stocked products available for sale at Bramwood Forest.
- Negotiate favorable prices while meeting the customer's product specifications.
- Achieve new account, sales and gross profit targets, through your daily activities. Meet other KPI's as needed.
- Use Salesforce to keep up to date information on all customers and prospects.
- Other duties as required to attain company goals.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Valid Passport and ability to travel to the United States.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, driven, and strong work ethic, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proven ability in phone sales, including confidence and comfort in making cold-calls.
- Results-driven, ambitious, and self-motivated.
- Adaptable and quick to change directions as needed.
- Proficient in assessing market conditions and establishing fair selling prices.
- Experience in making profit-based decisions based on available data.
- Knowledge of the lumber market is an asset.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and structural wood products is an asset.
