The Planner is responsible for developing and implementing plans for the physical development of a community. This includes working with local government officials, businesses, and residents to identify and address community needs. They will also be responsible for preparing reports, conducting research, and presenting plans to the public.
Responsibilities:

Work with local government officials, businesses, and residents to identify and address community needs
Prepare reports, conduct research, and present plans to the public
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of plans
Advocate for the interests of the community
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a related field
Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation
4-6 years of experience in urban planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with managing various applications under the Planning Act
