The successful candidate will be proficient in security industry supervision, alarm response, mobile operations, critical thinking, and coaching. Must hold a BC Security license

General Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the VP of Operations
- Oversee and be accountable for the effectiveness of all Security Guard and Mobile Divisions, ensuring excellence in client service in every interaction with staff and clients.
- Mobile patrol and static security knowledge a must
- Works Closely with North Island Scheduler and Vancouver Island Recruiter
- Plan and execute effective route management for mobile patrol services
- Establish and maintain strong relationships your team
- Support Mobile Patrol and Security Guards in-field training and mentoring
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Participate in business development activities
- Enact progressive discipline where necessary
- Maintain company standards in all aspects of the local Branch
- Provide proactive client care, ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Monitor all operational and incident reports and take appropriate action
- Ensure that all regional personnel understand site orders and are fulfilling client obligations.
- Implement and utilize new technologies across the regional fleet / patrol divisions
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed, investigate safety issues with priority
- Proactively manage team members with a focus on employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, manage performance of direct reports.
- Work effectively with other departments, demonstrating strong administrative skills.
- Maintains a solid understanding of employment standards and pay practices, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and maintain control over company-owned property, such as uniforms, equipment, and vehicles.
Core Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
- Mobile experience preferred
- Valid BC Security Worker's Licence or willingness to attain one
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Eagerness and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a manager in an operational environment; supervisory or management experience in the security industry an asset.
- Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on' approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required.
- Remains calm under pressure and takes control of incidents
- Must have strong leadership, social interaction, and organizational skills; proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Possess strong knowledge of security procedures, scheduling, and managing people within a security service environment
- Must work well under strict timelines and possess the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
- Fluent in English
- Strong Communication skills
- Competency/Knowledge of MS Office suite especially MS Word and Excel.
