One of our food processing clients is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead at Cambridge, ON for their facility.
Shift - Afternoon
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Quickly diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
Coordinate and perform repairs on machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.
Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses, sourcing cost-effective solutions, and controlling expenditures.
dentify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
Key Requirements:
Possession of an Industrial Electrician (442A) and/or an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) license is essential.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain productive relationships with employees, colleagues, and managers.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to effectively lead, motivate, guide, mentor, and resolve conflicts among team members.
Aptitude for maintaining meticulous records with accuracy.
Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as necessary, showcasing flexibility.
