Role and Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy
  • Take ownership of assigned brands, overseeing profit and loss, innovation strategies, and brand health metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and execute comprehensive annual Brand & Marketing plans, encompassing new product launches, advertising, promotions, distribution strategies, and digital initiatives.
  • Drive the development of business cases to support the launch of new products or line extensions, presenting compelling recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead the planning, timing, and execution of product launch strategies, focusing on generating awareness, maximizing distribution, and driving sales.
  • Define and uphold brand standards including product quality, packaging, pricing strategy, and other qualitative attributes.
  • Proactively engage in commercial planning, adapting strategies in response to changing market dynamics or competitive landscapes.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize SKU and portfolio productivity.
Brand Equity & Execution
  • Translate Brand and Marketing plans into effective trade strategies and support tools, aligned with marketing objectives to drive sales across Retail, E-commerce, and Key Account channels.
  • Identify and capitalize on marketing and promotional opportunities with Key Account retailers, managing promotional calendars and evaluating ROI to optimize programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Finance and Field Sales leadership to develop product-specific messaging and strategies, driving distribution gains and assortment listing retention.
  • Oversee the Brand's marketing budget, ensuring alignment with commercial activities and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external resources to develop and execute marketing materials and campaigns that support key initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Omni-marketing strategies for retailers nationwide, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships to achieve shared goals.
Product Knowledge
  • Develop and execute product knowledge strategies for all brands, leveraging technology and expertise to drive distribution and sell-through.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing support to internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as Assistant Brand Manager or Brand Manager in a consumer-packaged goods environment.
  • Experience in managing and developing direct reports.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Availability to attend occasional onsite training and meetings at our Aylmer location.
