Overview:Our Alberta-based client has an immediate need for a QA Automation Analyst to develop automated test suites for new applications in supporting the regression testing. Performance testing and monitoring will also be implemented.
What you will be doing:

• Creation of automated regression test suites using Selenium/Appium tools
• Creation of automation suites to support build and installation verification
• Creation of API test suites for application interfaces
• Performance testing and monitoring
• Work with the developers to identify test cases for automation
• Maintain and enhance the automation test framework
• Create API test suites for application interfaces
• Run and update automation suites when needed
• Be involved in performance testing and monitoring
• Automation deliverables including but not limited to Automation Test Strategy, detailed test plans, automation framework, core regression test suites
• Responsible for identifying the tasks, timelines and resources required for the project
• Regular status reporting to the Manager
• Completion of the project initiatives on time, on budget, with acceptable level of quality
• Work independently and in a team environment
• The automation analyst is responsible for successful delivery of the project.

What you must have:

• 3-5 years of Automated testing experience using tools such as Selenium/Appium
• Strong testing skills, both manual and automated
• Experience with automating both UI and API
• Performance testing expertise would be an asset
• Experience working with a variety of automation tools
• Proven ability to adapt to testing in different business sectors
