What we are looking for?
A minimum of 1 year of Highway LCT experience (preferred)
BCCSA approved Traffic Control Person certification
BC Class 5 License and clean drivers abstract
Drug Test is required for this project
Ability to effectively communicate with drivers and operators
General construction site and flagging knowledge
Personal transportation to commute to site
You are expected to:
Directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to safe routes around road construction sites
Assist in accessing and exiting work sites and reporting to questions
Assist with set up and maintenance of project signage and barricades including daily barricade reports
Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
Setting up and providing traffic control specifications
Reviewing traffic management plans
Training other site workers about traffic and equipment safety
Performing other related duties as required
Salary: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour (Including 12% vacation pay, travel allowance and benefits) Salary will be determine based on experience and during the in-person interview
