Position Overview:

Velocity Truck Centre Canada, formally known as P&R Truck Centre, is looking for a Service Advisor in Duncan, BC. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing service appointments, providing expert advice, and coordinating with the service team to deliver timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, document service needs, and provide clear explanations of required services and repairs
• Schedule service appointments, manage workflow, and coordinate with technicians for timely service completion
• Utilize knowledge of commercial trucks to offer accurate advice and recommendations
• Upsell additional services and products, fostering long-term customer relationships
• Prepare service estimates, process warranty claims, maintain accurate records, and address customer complaints promptly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are a plus
• Proven experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in a commercial truck or automotive dealership
• Strong knowledge of commercial truck systems and repairs
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dealership management software and basic computer skills
