What you will be doing:
- Work as a part of an Agile development team to design, implement and provide architectural guidance for a fully interactive, single-page style web application
- Write unit and integration tests for your code
- Collaborate with interaction designers to translate mock-ups into a functioning web application that is accessible and responsive with exceptional usability
- Collaborate with testers in development of test cases for JavaScript code
- Collaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinement
- Monitor and support the operation of production systems
- Experience data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and working directly with engineers and product owners
- Experience designing and developing applications for a clustered or retail environment
- Participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues and provide mentorship for others
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer, Science, Electrical, Engineering or related discipline/experience
- 4-6+ years of development experience using object-oriented design and Service-Oriented Architecture
- 5+ years of front-end development
- 3+ years' experience with React
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Web-pack, TypeScript and Node.js
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Highly collaborative mindset that allows you to build trust and accountability
- Natural curiosity to explore and entertain fresh ideas and feedback
- Ability to embrace change with positivity and enthusiasm
