As the Presentation & Design Assistant, you'll be tasked with preparing and formatting tender proposal documents for significant bids undertaken by our Office and Education departments. This role involves crafting product pages, gathering essential information, and providing support for various tender-related activities as required. Additionally, you'll offer assistance to our Office and Education designers at CDI Spaces, contributing to tasks such as rendering, maintaining product renderings in the library, and tackling smaller design projects.

Your responsibilities will extend to aiding in the preparation of essential documents for client presentations, as well as updating processes and master copy folders for our prominent accounts. Furthermore, you'll play a pivotal role in managing our sample library, ensuring it remains current by maintaining an up-to-date inventory and promptly ordering new samples as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support CDI education and office designers with space planning and building documents.
  • Assist with tender documents.
  • Build product pages and drawing packages for the sales team.
  • Individual product renders.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of products from multiple manufactures, staying up to date on any changes and when new products roll out.
  • Assistance in maintaining the sample library; organizing, replenishing, tracking inventory.
  • Ensure all drawings are loaded in designated SharePoint and Khameleon files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required; Post-Secondary diploma is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience in an office environment
  • Excellent in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Skills in estimation and reading furniture layouts and drawings is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup experience or design software experience an asset
