Cloud Data Engineer Job Description

• Must have working knowledge in designing and implementing data pipelines on any of the cloud providers (AWS is preferred).
• Must be able to work with large volumes of data coming from various sources. Perform data cleansing, data validation etc.
• Hands on ETL developer who is good at python, SQL. AWS services like glue, glue crawlers, lambda, red shift, Athena, s3, EC2, IAM, Monitoring and Logging mechanisms- AWS CloudWatch, setting up alerts.
• Deployment knowledge on cloud.
• Integrate CI/CD pipeline to build artifacts and deploy changed to higher Environments.
• Scheduling frame works Airflow, AWS Step functions
• Excellent Communication skills, should be able to work collaboratively with other teams

Must Have
1. Sound knowledge in python as programming language. Should be expert in oops programming, and pandas as well.
2. Very good knowledge in Pyspark.
3. Sound understanding of Data engineering stack in AWS.(EMR/Glue/Athena/Lakeformation/Lambda/SQS/SNS/S3 etc)
4. Strong in IAC(infra as code) using Terraform/Terragrunt.
5. Good Knowledge in Apache Hudi functionality.
6. Sound knowledge in SQL queries.
Good to have.
1. Good knowledge on git actions.
2. Good knowledge in developing API on AWS.
3. Grasp/understand project tech stack and functionality very quickly.
4. Financial data knowledge.
