Primary Role Focus
Manual and automated inspection of manufactured product. This role reports to the Quality Control Supervisor
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Verify material and measurements
• Document inspections and generate non-conformances
• Assist vendors and assembly operators in troubleshooting as required
• Maintain and calibrate precision measuring equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace and shop
• Ensure compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety Program
• Operate Zeiss Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) as needed.

Position Requirements
Experience and Skills

• Experience working with close tolerance measurements in oilfield manufacturing setting
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of machining practices & procedures
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Zeiss Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) an asset
• Read, write, and speak English

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalency preferred

Physical, Business and Safety Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs
• Extended periods of standing
• Position is "safety sensitive" and subject to pre-employment medical testing and drug & alcohol testing
• Subject to post-incident and reasonable cause drug & alcohol testing
