Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find a Mechanical/Electrical Inspector for our client's Team, based out of their Calgary, Alberta office.
Primary Job Function: To conduct Construction Site Visits to ensure adherence to mechanical and electrical design and plans. Support the Design Team, and complete shop drawings and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring lessons learned are communicated across all projects
- Ensuring Client and Contractor satisfaction
- Providing coaching and mentorship
Requirements
- Familiarization with mechanical and electrical building design practices and codes
- Quality review of all sites and follow-up with strong report preparation
- Coordination with the Design Team for all technical issues
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
- Ability to identify potential risks and report them to the Project Managers
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract
- Experience as an Electrician, Plumber or Mechanical/HVAC Technician experience in a construction capacity
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or extensive relevant operation experience, construction experience, journeyman, plumber, electrician, HVA an asset, but not required
- Program Management Professional considered an asset
