Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find a Mechanical/Electrical Inspector for our client's Team, based out of their Calgary, Alberta office.


Primary Job Function: To conduct Construction Site Visits to ensure adherence to mechanical and electrical design and plans. Support the Design Team, and complete shop drawings and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring lessons learned are communicated across all projects
  • Ensuring Client and Contractor satisfaction
  • Providing coaching and mentorship

Requirements
  • Familiarization with mechanical and electrical building design practices and codes
  • Quality review of all sites and follow-up with strong report preparation
  • Coordination with the Design Team for all technical issues
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and report them to the Project Managers
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract
  • Experience as an Electrician, Plumber or Mechanical/HVAC Technician experience in a construction capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or extensive relevant operation experience, construction experience, journeyman, plumber, electrician, HVA an asset, but not required
  • Program Management Professional considered an asset
