Located in Langley, martini is a privately owned group that has extensive experience in the Construction, Development, Property Management and the Rental Industry. We have grown organically designing, developing, building and managing properties and projects for both ourselves and our customers.

We are looking for a Site Superintendent with experience to join our team.

Our ideal team member is self motivated, takes pride in their work and has a true appreciation for the finished product.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supervise all personnel at the site level
  • Maintain the construction schedule while holding trades and suppliers accountable
  • Work with subcontractors and suppliers with planning and completion of the work, reading drawings and interpreting specifications
  • Coordinate delivery of materials to the site
  • Coordinate required inspections with required cities and departments
  • Ensure compliance with martini levels of quality while maintaining the design intent, safety standards, budget and schedule
  • Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
  • Quality control - proactively address deficiencies
  • Ensure trades rectify all deficiencies on a timely manner
  • Resolves complaints and grievances that may arise within the workforce at the jobsite
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean, organized, and adhering to job safety standards
  • Work directly with our Project Managers and our office design staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in construction at a site level
  • Level 1 or 2 First Aid is an asset
  • Site safety officer (CSO) Certification is an asset
  • Valid BC Drivers License
  • Strong communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
