Responsibilities:
  • Ability to learn and understand client applications, to develop new clients and reengage former clients to purchase both new and existing product lines
  • Must be able to learn to discuss applications with customers and identify their application needs/requirements
  • Develop, grow and maintain client relationships with domestic and international customers by targeting researchers, engineers and procurement personnel to help with product development from prototyping to volume production
  • Consistently meet all monthly and quarterly sales goals
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 5 years of sales experience and strong interpersonal skills with ability to understand technical engineering terminology/products to discuss solutions with clients
  • Must be passionate about sales and skilled at communicating with clients and have a positive attitude to bounce back from sales rejections
  • Must be able to interact with customers through phone calls, emails, Tradeshow Events as well as in-person meetings
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be willing to learn about photonics products
  • Must have the ability to work independently and work in a team
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented along with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to travel to office location every Wednesday.
Experience: 4years of sales or corporate customer service experience
Education: Bachelor's degree required, STEM background preferred
Pay: CA$ 70,000 to CA$ 100,000 per year
