The Analyst - Continuous Improvement will be responsible for developing standard methods for calculating plant indicators, collecting the necessary information on projects before and after implementation, and leading activities aimed at reducing costs.
Location: Orangeville, ON (On-site)

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, or diagrams.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities to improve worker efficiency.
  • Plan the flow of work or materials to maximize efficiency.
  • Develop or implement programs to address problems related to production, materials, safety, or quality.
  • Modify equipment or processes to improve resource or cost efficiency.
  • Actively participates in daily FMOS meetings. Provides performance data for selected machines and communicates action
  • Perform AM DMS Health Checks. Take action on identified Line Health Check gaps.
  • Facilitates and owns the Line Loss Analysis. Gather, interpret and report data on problem issues. Maintain trend analysis.
  • Daily Management Systems for the line organization.
  • Develops control strategies and decision rules to enable operators to respond to out-of-control situations and improve line efficiencies
  • Leads root cause problem-solving efforts on losses for the line/department.
  • Provides regular, ongoing communication with line associates and line managers on the status of identified losses
