Responsibilities and Expectations

Located in our Downtown Toronto office with the option for hybrid work, the Finance Operations Associate will be essential in supporting our trading operations. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth execution of trade settlements, performing thorough reconciliation of trading activities, accurately compiling trade reports, and enhancing client relationships to aid our growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Settlement: Support the completion of trade settlement processes, ensuring transactions are carried out efficiently and according to company standards.
• Trade Reconciliation: Assist in the reconciliation of trading activities, working to identify and resolve discrepancies to uphold the integrity of our trading operations.
• Trade Reporting: Contribute to the preparation and analysis of trade reports, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency and adherence to and internal guidelines.
• Client Relationship Management: Help maintain and strengthen client relationships, responding to inquiries and needs promptly to achieve high client satisfaction and loyalty.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as Mid/Back Office Operations, FX Settlements, or similar roles within the finance industry.
• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, "get it done" mindset, paired with a meticulous and organized approach to tasks.
• Prior experience in the blockchain or crypto industry is highly beneficial.
