Job description:
We are looking for an experienced, sprinkler fitter to support the growth of our field service team. Our technicians are responsible for inspections, testing, repairs, and installation of equipment.
The successful candidate will install, verify, inspect, service and modify sprinkler fire protection systems, ensuring compliance to codes and. (Wet/Dry Sprinkler Systems, CO2, Water Mist, Wet and Dry Chemical).
Job tasks:
- Service – Wet, dry, pre-action systems, small renovations that require modifications. Trouble shoot systems that are not in proper operation. Make applicable repairs
- Contracts – Install new systems in both retro and new builds.
- Inspection – Inspect, test all applicable systems
- Maintain knowledge of codes and standards
Requirements:
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with team members and customers.
- Professional approach to interactions and presentation
- Excellent Time Management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- ASTTBC Certifications are a plus
- Ability to operate Scissor & Boom Lifts an asset
- Valid BC Drivers License
- Knowledge of NFPA and BC Building Codes
- Minimum 3 years experience as a certified Sprinkler Fitter or Sprinkler system Installer
