We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as we are actively recruiting for a Product Configuration Specialist responsible for applying the best aligned CenterLine configured products to support customer specific needs and associated cost estimates. This position reports to the Configured Products Applications Manager.

What we're looking for

  • Interact with the customer directly to acquire the relevant application details required to properly apply CenterLine configured product solutions
  • Primary Centerline contact during the application process including determining scope and timing up to the point of sale
  • Utilize configuration tools, product specific training and knowledge to determine the product configuration(s) that will be proposed to the customer, providing models, technical information and a detailed quotation as required
  • Review and consider the customer specifications to ensure compliance of the CenterLine product throughout the applications process
  • Create and manage timelines and track open issues until the sale is realized
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Management Team
  • Assess overall project timing and macro capacity loading
  • Act as a resource to Account Managers, Design, Manufacturing and Service Departments to answer questions on product configuration and applications during the complete lifecycle of the product

What you need to succeed
  • Engineering Degree or Diploma, C.E.T. or Tool and Die certification, or design experience
  • Exposure to resistance spot welding and resistance projection welding an asset
  • Experience in machine/tooling concepts
  • Ability to work in 3D CAD
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office
  • Effective customer and supplier communication skills
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving
  • Well organized with a proven ability to work under tight time constraints
