Geotech Drilling is seeking experienced Sonic Drillers for geotechnical, hydrogeological and environmental projects throughout the lower mainland, British Columbia/Alberta and into the territories. Our sonic fleet requires competent staff to maintain a high level of output for a diverse array of clients. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader in the field, possess the motivation to deliver superior service and adhere to all H&S requirements and Provincial Legislation. As a Sonic Driller at Geotech, you must:

• Have 2+ years experience of sonic drilling
• Preferred experience with various other drilling methodologies, ODEX, mud/air rotary, Coring
• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Be physically capable of regular and repetitive lifts
• Have the mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair small equipment
• Have experience working in remote and/ or varied weather conditions for extended periods
• Have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, and be willing to work hard.
• Be in the process or working towards ITA Geo Driller Certification (preferred).
• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
