We are seeking an SMS Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of the company's SMS lead generation program including but not limited to – audience selection, scheduling, content, testing, deliverability, compliance, reporting, revenue, and list attrition. The right candidate will utilize their business acumen and analytical skills to define and exceed KPI's relative to management's expectations.


This position requires expert understanding of SMS marketing best practices and customer behavioural patterns to achieve maximum performance of individual campaigns and the overall program.
This role will be a ‘hand-on' position. The SMS specialist will be solely responsible for developing and implementing the approved strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize in-house data to re-engage customers via SMS for lead generation
  • Implement and manage the day-to-day SMS lead generation program
  • Develop lead generation SMS strategies
  • Build out and deploy campaigns
  • Establish metrics and relevant KPI's to measure performance of the SMS campaigns
  • Craft robust A/B testing plans, actively assess and adjust plans accordingly
  • Analyze targeting, ad creative, SMS content to drive lead growth and revenue
  • Create and present monthly personal accountability reports for management
  • Keep abreast of all recent trends and strategies in the marketplace
  • Maintain best practices to minimize list attrition and avoid compliance/legal issue

REQUIREMENTS

  • Passion for SMS marketing
  • Preferably 5+ years in SMS marketing
  • Preferably 3+ in LeadGen
  • Solid sales and business acumen
  • Strong analytical skillset
  • Demonstrated ability to handle pressure and thrive in a start-up type environment
  • Articulate and personable with strong communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Operates independently yet collaborates as part of a team
  • Ability to travel internationally for trade shows, conferences, and company events
