We are actively seeking a friendly, and well-organized, customer-focused Receptionist in Coquitlam, BC. As the first point of contact for our company, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Your exceptional communication skills and friendly demeanor will be instrumental in managing inquiries, directing calls, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Additionally, you'll provide administrative support across various departments, demonstrating your versatility and dedication to supporting the team's success.

Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Handling inquiries from clients, customers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Managing the reception area, including maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings and managing conference room bookings.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages and coordinating outgoing mail.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Providing general administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Assisting with the coordination of office events, meetings, and other special projects.
  • Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with office security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintaining reception and kitchen area and scheduling maintenance work if necessary.
  • Any other responsibilities delegated by the Treasurer/Secretary

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Two years experience working in a customer service or office role.
  • Organized and high attention to detail
  • Experienced working within MS office programs such as excel, power point and word.
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English both verbally and written.
  • High school diploma
