This position is located in Souris, PE. The Electrician/ElectroMechanical Technician is responsible for the safe operation of control, instrumentation, electrical systems and programming the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) in the Processing and Waste Treatment plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE - Program the PLC's in the Processing and Waste Treatment plants - Undertakes a regular inspection and preventative maintenance of the electrical systems - Perform and oversee planned and emergency repairs to these systems - Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for PLC and motor control systems - Troubleshoot problems with PLC control and instrumentation equipment - Oversee the work of other technicians working on the electrical control systems - Assist and train other technicians/electricians in the performance of their duties - Operate tools and equipment as required - Maintain required reports
