Your next Career: Cleaner - Day Shift - 7:30am to 4:30 pm, Mon to Fri.

Job Purpose

The cleaner is responsible for the general plant cleaning at the manufacturing and assembly locations, as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning work departments, lunch and restroom rooms, along with our resources and outside areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping and picking up trash.
• Requires the ability to use standard cleaning equipment such as push brooms, scoop shovels, portable pressure hoses, and cleaning supplies.
• Floor cleaner equipment
• Providing information on required cleaning supplies purchases.
• Report on issues, to Production Supervisor or Assembly Manager.
• Reports any observed or potential hazards immediately.
• Wear the proper PPE where required.
• Helps with other functional areas/departments as the need arises or as assigned.
• Follow Calstone Policies and Procedures.
• Adherence to attendance policy (regular attendance)
• All other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, and Managers.
• Ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.
• Ability to lift, up to 50lbs
• Manual dexterity
• Attention to detail
• Able to take instructions
