Reporting to the Plumbing Foreman, the Red Seal Plumber will:
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings of the assigned project(s).
- Plan and layout mechanical services for plumbing and HVAC piping.
- Install mechanical services per the drawing.
- Install plumbing services per the latest version of the BC Plumbing Code.
- Keeps their working area clean and tidy.
- Coordinate basic installation with other sub-trades.
- Read drawings of other disciplines. Very experienced RSP
- Comply with the job site QAQC requirements.
- Read and understand the site's health and safety policies. Ensure all rules and regulations are being followed while working on site.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Must be competent in modern technology to improve work quality and efficiency
- Red Seal Plumbers are responsible for executing procedures/tasks:
- From start to finish including the gathering material/equipment,
- Oversee small groups. Apprentices and or less experienced RSPs
- Manage the material and equipment during assembly
- Capable of being solely responsible for all tools assigned to the task
- Responsible for identifying and conforming to any intermediate safety requirements
- Manage removal of garbage and debris created during the process
- Manage the testing process including Leak management
- Will take responsibility for the task and the performance of the group
- Process material at completion, scrap, useful material. All put-away and space clean.
- Able to lead, motivate and train apprentices.

Compensation: $43.50/h to 46/hr + 5% RRSP + 100% Company-Paid Health & Dental Benefits + Life Insurance + AD &D.
