We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurses with a background in long-term care for immediate openings in Halifax and Multiple locations across Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities

In this role, the LPN is responsible for a wide variety of duties based on scope and skill level.

1. Duties include but not limited to personal care, accurate assessment & proper documentation, wound care and management, proper lifts and transfers, medication administration and monitoring, and emotional support and facilitation of community inclusion activities.
2. Skills in care of individuals with specific health needs eg.Cerebral Palsy, mobility impairments, cognitive deficits, major mental illness, seizure disorders and profound developmental delays an asset

Core Requirement

1. Currently Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
2. Vulnerable sector check
