Is this challenge for you?
The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Business Development & Sales and contributes to the STARS Vigilant corporate objectives by supporting the sales team with administrative and customer service-related tasks. This role requires outstanding organization and customer service skills. The successful candidate will exhibit proficiency in time management and multi-tasking and will possess a passion for contributing to the sales process, which aids in funding our not-for-profit mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team with day-to -day administrative tasks including coordinating meetings and preparing sales documents and presentations;
  • Communicate with potential clients via phone and email to address inquiries and arrange meetings with our account executive;
  • Ensure sales inquiries and leads received through general email are appropriately vetted and promptly delivered to the sales team;
  • Assist in coordination of onboarding and off boarding of strategic accounts;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations and finance to support our revenue growth objectives;
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software;
  • Assist the customer success specialist with renewal of client contracts;
  • Compile sales data to generate reports on sales performance, trends, and customer preferences;
  • Assist with client relationship management duties including tracking contract expiry date and maintaining updated B2B contact lists;
  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales events, trade shows and other promotional activities;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Who are you?
You will be a detail oriented, customer service focused individual with strong organizational and time management skills: In addition, you bring:

  • 2 – 3 years of professional experience related to sales coordinator, customer service or administrative support roles;
  • 2 years of post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field;
  • Intermediate level knowledge of CRM (preference given to those who have experience with Salesforce);
  • High proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • An understanding of the principles, methods, and strategies used for promoting and selling services would be considered an asset.
