Salary: Base $50,000 + commission

We are looking for a Territory Manager to join our successful Sales team. As the Territory Manager, you value customer relationships and build them based on trust and open communication. You are a solution provider and can determine the customer's needs. You have a good judgment of character, are friendly, outgoing, and easy to get along with. Your Purpose:

As the Territory Manager, you will be contributing to Unifiller's growth and bringing in sales to increase revenue.

Your Primary Duties:

  • Use consultative selling, and consistently exceed Unifiller's year-over-year annual sales targets.
  • Generate sales of Unifiller's standard equipment solutions and grow sales within an established region.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and identify new customers.
  • Review clients' needs, recommend, or assist in the selection of appropriate goods or services, and negotiate prices or other sales terms in conjunction with their Business Development Manager (BDM)
  • Prepare information for Sales Board on behalf of the BDM
  • Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services
  • Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging trends
  • Quote generation based on qualifying customer requirements
  • Generate leads from prospecting and cold calls.
  • Regular overnight travel (approx. 25% to 50%) in assigned territories
  • Participate in tradeshows
  • Keep CRM database up to date
  • Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to support market penetration in the assigned region
  • Support within-house product testing and hosting customer visits
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • You have a diploma or degree in business
  • You have 5 plus years of sales-related experience, preferably selling capital equipment in a B2B environment to high-level decision-makers
  • You have experience with telemarketing sales, with a strong sense of a customer service
  • You can work in a fast-paced/multi-tasking environment
  • You have strong aptitude towards mechanical / technical equipment and ability to understand the products' value-added benefits
  • You have industry knowledge (pharma, bakery, and food industries) is an asset
  • You are diligent, and organized, with strong time management skills.
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the Internet, and familiar with CRM.
  • If you can speak a second language, preferably Spanish, French, or German.
  • You can travel to various clients sites in assigned territory
  • You are physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and standing for extensive periods of time

  • You must be legal to work in Canada
  • You must have a valid passport
  • You must have a valid Driver's License
  • You must have solid home office capabilities with reliable high-speed internet access
