Our team solves the fundamental problems of architecting, engineering, scaling, automating, securing, and maintaining availability for our clients' web application infrastructures. We continuously ask ourselves how we can make these processes more efficient, reduce errors, and maximize the uptime of their web applications.

You are responsible for technical collaboration with our clients to build and maintain their application infrastructure. To provide the foundation for this service, you engage in designing, coordinating, and implementing the infrastructure components our service uses to continuously improve scalability, reliability, and quality.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • At least one technical cloud platform certification (preferably AWS)
  • At least one Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
  • 1 year of experience working with Terraform
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time work using Linux as their primary OS
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience in a leadership and/or mentoring role

Key technologies that you should have experience with are:

  • Version Control: GitHub
  • CI: CircleCI + GIthub Actions
  • CD: CircleCI
  • IaC: Terraform, Terragrunt
  • Monitoring: Prometheus + Grafana
  • Logging: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Graylog
  • Secrets: K8s Secrets
  • Container Orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS, ECS, DOKS, AKS)
  • Kubernetes Application Management: Helm and K8s Operators

Your key responsibilities are to:

  • Interact with clients to coordinate infrastructure changes, troubleshoot issues, and service application infrastructure change requests
  • Manage client expectations and enforce best practices
  • Participate in a balanced on-call rotation, after hours, and weekends
  • Automate workflows
  • Introduce and implement better tools and systems to continually push our Engineering, DevOps, and SRE practices forward
  • Design, implement, and maintain the technologies used to provide application infrastructure support
  • Research new technologies and incorporate them into our service as necessary
  • Participate with the community to both learn and spread knowledge
