We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer proficient in Golang, well-versed in Go's concurrency model, and proficient in building robust, scalable services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern CI/CD pipelines (such as GitLab), deploying containerized services in Kubernetes, and implementing comprehensive logging and monitoring solutions. Bonus skills in Terraform and Helm will be highly regarded.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop, design, and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions using Golang.
- Utilize Go's concurrency model to create efficient and responsive applications.
- Build and optimize services leveraging modern CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitLab pipelines.
- Containerize services and orchestrate deployments in Kubernetes environments.
- Architect, implement, and manage robust logging and monitoring systems within services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues in services.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) developing applications in Golang with a strong understanding of Go's concurrency model.
- Proven track record of setting up and managing modern CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab) for software delivery.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding and implementation experience of logging and monitoring solutions within services.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
**Preferred Skills (Bonus):**
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes application deployment.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $140,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
