This is an office based position, with a flexible hybrid work schedule. Candidates must reside in Calgary or Edmonton.

Job Description

The principal role of the Senior Measurement Consultant is to lead measurement projects and reporting for our various clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable to manage all aspects of a project from inception, scoping, development of client letters and reports through final reporting
  • Provide support and mentorship to consulting team and work independently on completing projects
  • Understand project scope, cost, and schedule and able to provide practical and logistical advice and manage stakeholder expectations on cost, risk, and operational changes
  • Work with clients on regulatory or 3rd party disputes and audit queries
  • Provide educated witnessing to meter calibrations, proves, and water draws
  • Schedule, conduct, and report on EPAP assessments, measurement audits and reviews
  • Create, maintain, and coordinate the development and maintenance of metering schematics
  • Communicate / collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholder groups to obtain data, understand accounting models, receipts and facility allocations and, design, communicate and implement changes required for regulatory compliance, efficiency and effectiveness

Expectations

  • Ensures adherence to all internal controls, system standards, policies, and audit requirements to minimize risk to the company
  • Competent to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels both internal and external of the company
  • A compresensive understanding of regulatory documents and reporting requirements in the oil and gas industry
  • Efficient at navigating and utilizing regulatory facility tracking systems and oil and gas data management and reporting systems, e.g., Petrinex, One Stop, IRIS, FDC/PA systems, etc.
  • Assist in mentoring and guiding the development of intermediate and junior measurement specialists
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the business and suggest and implement solutions
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of measurement and/or reporting experience
  • Self-starter who is able to effectively manage workload and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Google applications, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
