Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Promote innovation, lifelong learning, and automation of the infrastructure
  • Take part in setting visionary goals to build and operate an exceptional global network and cloud operations
  • Lead, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and vendors
  • Keep track of and ensure the quality of all technology infrastructure services, identify potential issues early and resolve them to prevent significant disruption
  • Develop and maintain department documentation (policies, procedures, diagrams)
  • Ensure IT controls such as SOX and Cybersecurity are effective. Work closely with audit to ensure successful and consistent outcomes. Deliver timely remediation to audit or cybersecurity findings
  • Participate in the Change Advisory Board
  • Be instrumental in managing and communicating outages and system performance degradation. Apply advanced analytical and monitoring techniques to ensure uptime and communicate service outages to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • oversee IT infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, backups, patching, networks, firewalls, access control, public cloud, and SaaS
  • Support and manage the delivery of large-scale enterprise projects and programs with complex IT architecture and landscape involving numerous vendors and teams
  • Coordinates and enables the successful transition of projects from implementation to operations. Ensure operational requirements and practices are in place before promotion to production
  • Guide and mentor a team of network and cloud engineers and help them advance their professional skills. Foster a team culture that focuses on outcomes.
  • Assist in building and controlling the budget for cloud and network (CAPEX and OPEX)

Who You Are:

  • Information Technical diploma/certificate in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT leader in a global enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of maintaining, deploying, and building: Microsoft Azure, Data Lakes, Identity, Single Sign On, M365, Network infrastructure (Palo Alto, Cisco & Meraki), Windows Server environments, SaaS, ServiceNow and Databases
  • Experience with IaC and Terraform is an asset
  • Comprehensive knowledge of efficient and contemporary Infrastructure approaches and new technologies
  • Ability to present and effectively communicate information to executive-level staff
  • Practiced COBIT, SOX, ITIL or similar frameworks in previous roles
  • Certifications for network (CCNA & Network+), ITIL and Microsoft (Azure, M365) or equivalent experience
