Analytical Chemist

Cyclone is a privately owned company with over 750 highly skilled employees housed within six state-of-the-art facilities totaling 450,000 square feet in both Canada and Poland. *Job Summary:* We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Analytical Chemist who will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical testing of materials and process samples to ensure compliance with aerospace, customer, and internal specifications. The role supports production, quality, process improvement, and environmental activities. *Duties:* * Conduct routine and non-routine chemical and physical testing of samples.
* Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and evaluate test results against specifications.
* Maintain accurate laboratory records, worksheets, test results, certificates, and testing schedules.
* Investigate process-related issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Maintain chemical inventory, laboratory equipment, test specimens, and a clean and safe work area.
* Monitor and support process equipment, including coordinating maintenance and repairs.
* Operate and monitor wastewater treatment and water purification systems.
* Perform chemical additions and solution replacements as required.
* Support the development and improvement of laboratory, production, and environmental procedures.
* Conduct gap analysis and testing to support the approval of new processes.
* Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, quality, and aerospace requirements.
* All other duties assigned by the Supervisor. *Qualifications* * Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment; aerospace experience is an asset.
* Knowledge of chemical testing, laboratory equipment, and chemical handling.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
