Supervisor, Full Time

• Maintain a clean, neat appearance.
• Deal with problems quickly and efficiently.
• Presence on the floor 90% of shift and during peak meal service times.
• Maintain good client communications.
• Maintain professional relationships with the employees
• Ensure work and safety training of employees.
• Ensure staff compliance with all Chartwells and Compass Group operating policies and
• Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Initiate safety inspection, training, and any necessary reports.
• Continually inspect premises, and food service areas, for cleanliness and appearance.
• Assure contract compliance and ensure staff awareness of Chartwells contractual obligations
• Ensure all health and safety and food safety issues are addressed and reported immediately to the unit manager to be resolved promptly.

Immediately report and assist in any accident investigations and help complete necessary documentation if required.

• Implements and maintains sales and marketing programs.
• Ensure good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any deficiencies to the Unit
• Assist management team as needed to support boosting morale of associates.
• Overseas the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for preparation, presentation, sanitation, and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control.
• Ensures timely meal service to all service areas within the unit. Supervises the serving of meals and responds to customer complaints in person at the time of the complaint.
• Ensures Operational efficiencies and ensures employees are kept busy and not chatting

• Directs and participates in the overall sanitation and safety of the unit, and employees in accordance with all company and governmental agency standards.
• Perform all duties in the safest possible manner and report all health and safety incidents.
• All other duties as requested.
