Mezzanine ETYS Server, Seasonal PT, Rogers Place

ETYS Servers are responsible for taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to guests while ensuring a high-quality guest experience. They handle transactions, maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards, and assist guests promptly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in one of our premium spaces; take food and beverage orders from guests in an efficient manner, following established steps of service
• Deliver food and drink promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
• Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions
• Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly, and special requests are accommodated
• Promptly address complaints or issues, relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor
• Ensure that the premium areas are properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards
• Collect payments from guests, ensuring all bills are closed to the proper tender
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions
•  Comply to all Health and Safety Policies and procedures
• Build relationships with guests
• Adhere to uniform standards and job specific standard operation procedures

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

• Previous experience in a similar role
• A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• You must have a valid ProServe
• Exceptional communications skills and ability to get along well with others
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items, and stand/walk for majority of shift
• Evening and weekend availability required
