Kitchen General Help, Full Time

The Kitchen General Helper will be responsible for basic food preparation, providing excellent customer service and maintenance of front counter and kitchen area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct work in accordance with safety standards.
• Ability to work in various workstations including sandwich making and its preparation.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Assure compliance with food safety policies and all sanitation and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Food Safety Certification is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous food service experience in a fast-food chain, banquet, restaurant setting is an asset.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Minor heavy lifting may be involved (up to 40 lb.)

Position Requirements:

• Must have Tim Hortons experience
• Negative Drug & Alcohol Test
• Shifts: 8hr/Day
• Rotation: 5 Days On/ 2 Days Off
