Assistant Lounge Manager, Air Canada

• Manage the daily operations of the Air Canada lounges.
• Coordinate staff schedules within the unit to ensure adequate coverage to meet expectations.
• Manage costs in order to stay within the unit’s budget.
• Respond to requests, resolve complaints, and address customer concerns.
• Monitor the unit’s compliance with quality assurance and health and safety policies, and implement any necessary corrective measures.
• Manage, coach, and develop unit staff to achieve unit and team objectives.

• Relevant experience of 3 years in the food service or hospitality industry.
• Experience in management, supervision, coaching, and staff development.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both French and English. Proficiency in English is required to communicate daily with head office, partners, assigned suppliers at a national level, as well as sponsors.
