Cart Maintainer

As a Cart Maintainer, you'll be responsible for the preparation, delivery, and upkeep of our steel and plastic waste bins and carts. Your vital field work will encompass curbside and communal collections, cart maintenance, and supporting municipal waste inspectors, all while adhering strictly to City and Provincial Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and environmental safety standards. What will you do? - Receive and fill out notification orders for all work completed - Select appropriate route for travel to and from assigned work areas where not designated - Deliver, exchange or remove carts from specified customer site locations and return to the inventory/maintenance yard - Deliver and return carts - Conduct safety checks and site hazard assessments when servicing or interacting with residents and other internal stakeholders - Assess and maintain carts for return to service or disposal - Adhere to all work procedures including safety and environmental regulations and procedures - Other duties as assigned
