Project Delivery and QA Analyst

The City of Edmonton is looking for a collaborative, analytical minded individual to join our Community Recreation & Culture branch. As a Project Delivery & QA Analyst, you will serve as a key technical and operational bridge, managing system configurations and leading quality assurance processes. This role is vital for evaluating new software releases, executing proof-of-concept designs, and translating complex system functions into practical business solutions. Working closely with internal teams and external technology providers, you will resolve critical system tickets and establish seamless configuration rollout strategies. What will you do? - Collaborate with business teams and collaborators to gather project requirements and present creative system solutions - Configure and test system functionalities within test environments to build proof-of-concept models - Lead quality assurance and system testing activities, including writing test plans and reviewing vendor release documentation - Translate highly technical terminology into clear instructions for user acceptance testing (UAT) - Write PL/SQL queries to analyze data, troubleshoot complex system errors, and fill reporting gaps - Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior staff members - Act as an escalation point for critical operational tickets and coordinate directly with global technology vendors for resolutions - Other related duties as assigned
