Outdoor Program Leader - Recreation Technician I

As an Outdoor Program Leader, you’ll be a skilled instructor and inspiring facilitator for a wide range of participants from day camps and school field trips to engaging community programs. You’ll plan and lead dynamic outdoor experiences across a diverse range of activities. What will you do? - Adventure Sports: Teach cycling adventures, Paddle Canada–certified tandem canoeing, and engaging archery sessions. - Wilderness Skills: Instruct shelter building, fire building, and practical outdoor survival skills through hands-on activities. - Navigation & Science: Explore orienteering, GPS navigation, and environmental science through fun, interactive challenges. - Winter Expeditions: Get outside with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice biking, and kicksledding adventures. - Community Engagement: Direct outdoor day camp adventures, fun and flexible programs for children, families and adults, and exciting outreach opportunities. - Other related duties as required
