What is the Opportunity? Aecon, and its predecessor companies, have been actively engaged in Nuclear Construction in Canada, and internationally, since 1967. Aecon aims to be the partner-of-choice for our nuclear clients and our dedication to excellence is leading us there. Aecon Nuclear provides a full spectrum of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, in addition to maintenance and manufacturing services tailored to meet the demanding requirements of the nuclear power industry. We hold a broad range of nuclear qualifications to support the nuclear industry with construction and maintenance services. Currently, Aecon is a major partner for both ongoing refurbishment programs at OPG and Bruce Power, and provides EPC services for many nuclear maintenance projects. We also provides major construction services to the nuclear power market in the US. Reporting to the Project Manager, Continuous Improvement, the Change Coordinator provides coordination and support for Management of Change and governance processes, and initiatives across Aecon's Nuclear sector. What You'll Do Here: Management of Change Coordination

  • Coordinate Management of Change activities from intake through implementation and closure.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Monitor the status of change requests and facilitate progress through review, approval, implementation, and closure stages.
  • Track action items, risks, issues, and dependencies associated with change requests.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of organizational and management system changes.

Governance Support

  • Support Management of Change governance processes and approval workflows.
  • Review change request submissions for completeness and compliance with process requirements.
  • Coordinate governance meeting logistics, agendas, and supporting materials.
  • Prepare governance presentations, decision records, action logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain governance documentation and support continuous improvement of governance practices.

Change Process Support

  • Orient change requesters and leads to change process requirements.
  • Develop guides, training materials, job aids, communications, and other supporting resources.
  • Respond to process inquiries and provide guidance on change requirements and expectations.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, change readiness, and process adoption activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, usability, and effectiveness.

Integrated Management System (IMS) & Documentation Support

  • Support the ongoing evolution, usability, and effectiveness of the IMS.
  • Contribute to improvements to IMS Portal structure, navigation, accessibility, and user experience.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and standardization of IMS documentation, templates, and guidance materials.
  • Assist with document reviews, updates, and implementation activities associated with approved changes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support Continuous Improvement and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and project-related activities.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, implementation, and action tracking.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve management system effectiveness, operational excellence, and organizational performance.

Reporting, Analytics & Administration

  • Maintain tracking logs, action registers, and related records.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, metrics, and presentations to support decision-making.
  • Compile and analyze data to support change management, governance, and initiatives.
  • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with organizational requirements.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Environment and Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting change management, project coordination, process improvement, governance, or related business functions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on improving processes, increasing efficiency, and enhancing the user experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with document management systems, version control, process mapping tools, reporting tools, or collaboration platforms is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Experience working in infrastructure, construction, nuclear, utility, or other regulated industries is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $74,000-$81,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
